Last Thursday night, minutes before the deadline, Charles Rangel's operatives took steps to kill democracy. His operatives have moved to remove my name from the ballot. By doing so, Charles Rangel showed that he is running scared, that he has no respect for democracy and is perfectly content to feed the dysfunction and frustration people feel about politics, rather than have an open and honest debate about the issues facing the people of the 15th Congressional District.
